To ensure you measure head circumference accurately*, the taut (but not stretched) tape measure or string is to run along the edge of the skull (at the back of your head), just above your ears and over the lumpiest part of your forehead.

Following your measurement:

1) If your head circumference is a WHOLE number e.g. 58cm (or close); a 56cm cap will be TIGHT, a 58cm cap will be SNUG and a 60cm cap will be LOOSE.

2) If your head circumference is 57cm, a 56cm cap will be TIGHTER-SNUG, a 58cm cap will be LOOSER-SNUG and a 60cm cap will be VERY LOOSE.
